Obituary: Nelson, Gordon Lee

NELSON, Gordon Lee Gordon Nelson, 50, of Spokane WA died Sunday, March 30, 2014 from mechanical heart compli- cations.

He is survived by his sister, Janet Nelson, his nieces, Eryn Ward, and Ashley Cramer, and his nephew, Michael Krapko.

In 1989 Gordon became a teacher at Shadle Park High School.

He was passionate about making a difference in the lives of his students.

He enjoyed cooking, painting, disco music, performing arts events, tea, gardening, and naps.

Gordon spent quality time with his friends and family, which usually involved cooking lessons.

He will be greatly missed by us all.

At his request, his body was donated to science so that medical research may help others.

A private celebration of his life will be held for close family and friends.
