Obituary: Schultz, Ronald Lee

Age 65

SCHULTZ, Ronald Lee October 20, 1948 - April 14, 2014 Ronald L. Schultz, 65, of Albany died Monday at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.

Born in Wilbur, Washington to Herbert and Sylvia (Woods) Schultz, Ronald was raised in Cooley City, Washington and graduated from high school there.

He became an electrician and worked construction in Washington before coming to Albany 28 years ago.

Ronald was a Supervising Electrician for Morse Brothers for almost 20 years, and then most recently for Weyerhouser at the Truss Joist Plant.

He enjoyed fishing and was creative in the lapidary field as a hobby.

Ronald married Tracey Thurber on July 3, 1981 in Millwood, Washington.

They were happily married for 31 years.

She survives in Albany, as well as step son, Noah Wischmann of Washington; sister, Doris Schultz of Yakima; step-grandchild, Brandon Wischmann; and several loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger and Leonard; and sister, Mary Sherlock.

A celebration of Ronald’s life is being scheduled for a later date.
