Severe thunderstorm warning issued

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Eastern Lincoln County, southern Ferry County, southeastern Okanogan County and southwestern Stevens County until 5:45 p.m. Here’s what the weather service says about the storm: * AT 451 PM PDT…DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SEVERE WINDS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THESE WINDS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM NEAR NESPELEM COMMUNITY TO 37 MILES NORTHEAST OF BANKS LAKE SOUTH TO 12 MILES WEST OF DAVENPORT TO 27 MILES NORTH OF RITZVILLE…AND MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. * LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE… DAVENPORT…NESPELEM COMMUNITY…LINCOLN…REARDAN…HARRINGTON… NESPELEM…CRESTON…CEDONIA…TELFORD…WAUKON…MONDOVI… HUNTERS…ROCKLYN…TWIN LAKES…GRAVELLES…ELEANOR…FRUITLAND… WELLPINIT…BLUESTEM AND MILES.
