Obituary: Phillips, Lowell Mccoy

PHILLIPS, Lowell McCoy October 17, 1930 - August 9, 2014 Lowell was born in Sargent, Nebraska to Seba and Neva (Lyon) Phillips.

He was married to his soul mate of 63 years, Orva Lee Shipley Phillips.

They moved to Spokane, WA from Nebraska in 1954.

He was self-employed most of his life, building two successful businesses.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, LaOra Govier of Broken Bow, Nebraska, Nora Bendowsky of Spokane; one brother, Richard Phillips; and son, Jim Phillips.

Survivors are his wife, Orva Lee (Shipley) Phillips at the home; brother, Robert Phillips of Spokane; daughter, Nanette Graupner (George Gary) of Spokane; son, Jerry Phillips of Otis Orchards and numerous grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts may be made in Lowell’s name to Good Samaritan Society, 17121 E. 8th Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99016.

In honor of Lowell’s request there will be no memorial service.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 19th, 2014, 2-4 pm at Darcy’s in the Spokane Valley.
