David Neese reported Monday the $1,100 theft of Bolle prescription sunglasses from his 2007 Toyota Highlander parked at Parker Toyota, 470 W. Kathleen Ave.

Matthew Aparicio reported Tuesday the $50,000 theft of a 420D Caterpillar backhoe from a construction site on the 4600 block of West Magrath Drive.

Kootenai County sheriff

Michael Fellegy, Coeur d’Alene, reported Tuesday the $350 theft of a canoe and fishing tackle from a home on the 500 block of South Hidden Cove Road in Coeur d’Alene.
