Obituary: Pittmann, Lewis E.
Age 94
Mr. Pittmann was born September 29, 1919 in Rosalia, Washington to George A. and Anna M. (Gregor) Pittmann.
Lewis was a lifetime farmer and raised registered suffolk sheep.
He was very meticulous in how he kept his farm and cared for his flock of sheep, with many of his animals being shown as 4-H and FFA projects as well as used for research at the University of Idaho.
Mr. Pittmann was a 50 year member of the Oakesdale Grange #1025, a longtime member of the Washington Wheat Growers Association and the Oakesdale Cemetery Board.
Lewis married Polly Crowe in 1949.
She passed away in 1970 and he later married Georgianna Jones.
She passed away in 2001.
He is survived by his brother, LaVerne (Ruth) Pittmann of Oakesdale, WA; sister, Margie Anderson of Potlatch, ID; onene stepson; one stepdaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, four sisters and a stepson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, at the Oakesdale Cemetery.
A reception will follow at the Oakesdale Fire Station.
