Obituary: Brazee, Earl Robert

BRAZEE, Earl Robert April 4, 1929 - November 17, 2014 Our Dad died in his sleep peacefully on November 17th.

Dad was a career military man (starting at Fairchild AFB where he met Mom) with twenty-seven years of service to our country.

Mom was a housewife who took pride in maintaining an orderly home (back then you were judged by how clean you kept your home).

Our Mom and Dad raised five kids and we all turned out just fine with our own terrific families and careers.

This was not happenstance as they gave us lifelong sacrifices and selfless attention so that we could have a better life than they had.

Dad spent tireless hours on the flight line leading a crew to help keep our country safe.

He taught us that “you don’t get anything unless you work hard for it”.

As importantly, they provided us with a balanced foundation of love and discipline (yes, they were stern), which taught us to treat others with love and respect that we now treat our children with.

Dad and Mom’s legacy follows: a loving daughter, Connie (Jeff) Boyer, and sons, Ron (Bonnie), Bob (Tami), Rick (Rosanna), all of Spokane, and Randy (Brigitte) of Knoxville, TN; 11 grandchildren, and seven great-grand- children.

Thanks, Mom and Dad - you were incredible parents.

We are sure that, now together again, you are smiling with pride for the family you created.
