Obituary: Brewer, Beta (Melvita)

BREWER, Beta (Melvita) (Age 74) In her own words: I owe and want to thank Ken Vandenberg for giving me the opportunity to live my dream and prove to me that YES you can trust car dealers.

Also, big thanks to Rick Ingram who, in spite of having his law degree, threatened to put together a small class project to research the liquor laws in the State of Idaho, which he provided to my attorney and friend Bill Nixon, who in turn brought to the State’s attention that those laws covered all liquor licenses and cities, which led to my obtaining a liquor license.

Also a huge thank you to Parker Woodhall (Northern State Bank) for financing my dreams.

Without all of your support my dreams would have remained just a dream.

A big thanks to my Kelly, Todd, and Becky.

Our journey was not an easy one and the road had lots of potholes, but through the love and support of each other we came through it and I am so proud of all of you.

Thanks to my aunt and uncle for raising my wonderful daughter Sharlee, then giving her back to me to love and cherish.

We all have had so many wonderful memories filled with laughter, cocktails, family, shopping, decorating, and travels.

To my daughter Donna, who is the inspiration to our family, you have raised two wonderful children, gone to college, written a really good book that is about to be published, and so much more.

All of this with no sight, and never complaining.

You are indeed very special.

Thanks to Bill, Randy, and Rick for loving my girls, and Marla for loving my son.

To my brothers Elmer and Joe and sister Susie, thanks for doing what sisters and brothers do best.

We are indeed blessed.

To all of my friends and customers, I couldn’t have done it without you.

It’s been one hell of a ride and, believe it or not, without a lot of regrets.

Biggest thanks to God for walking with me on my journey.

I will see you all on the other side, and remember, last one in is a rotten egg.
