Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candlelighting - 18th annual event to remember children who have died at any age, from any cause. The candlelighting service begins at 6:30 p.m. with remembrance readings and music. At 7 p.m., a central candle will be lit in honor of children around the world, after which participants may light a candle and say the name and something about the children they are honoring. Candles will be provided. After the candles are lit there will be refreshments and time to socialize. The central candle is extinguished at the conclusion at 8 p.m. Bring photos and mementos of loved ones you are honoring to place on a table for everyone to see. Please bring a dessert item to share.
