Obituary: Mccormick, Ronald W. “Skip”

Age 83

McCORMICK, Ronald W. “Skip” September 16, 1931 - December 13, 2014 Ronald W. McCormick was born in Spokane to Rogers and Marie McCormick and raised by Charles and Mary Wilde.

He graduated from Central Valley High School in 1950, then served in the U.S. Army for three years at the end of WWII.

Ron was married to J. Lee McCormick for 51 years.

He was a life-long resident of the Spokane area and worked at Inland Empire Paper Company for 41 years.

Ron is survived by his wife Lee, sons Charles (Rose), Joseph (Kim), Michael (Cynthia) and Matthew, and daughters Mary Parker, Margaret, Kathryn McCormick Foster (Michael), Johnna Brutschy (Howard), Cynthia Grano (Robert), 28 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, his sisters, Norma Jean and Joyce.

Ron is predeceased by wife Mary Lou Dufner, daughter LeAnn Marie and sister Lois.

Services will include: A Rosary Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 7pm at St. Augustine’s Parish, 428 W. 19th and a Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11am at St. Mary’s Parish, 304 W. Adams; Followed by an interment at Fairview Cemetery in Rockford, WA.
