Obituary: Anyan, Violet R. (Johnson)
She is survived by her four children Karen (and Barry) Tilson, Keith (and Jean) Anyan, Janet (and Mike) Kenney and Pam Anyan along with 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, her sister Alice Williams and numerous nieces and nephews.
Violet is preceded in death by her husband Everett “Corky” Anyan, grandson Sean Tilson, three brothers and five sisters.
Violet was a member of the Creston Christian Church, Lincoln Ladies Home Club, and Creston Alumni Assoc.
Violet enjoyed baking, quilting, the outdoors, raking and burning debris, traveling, card games, gambling and visiting with friends.
But her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Creston Christian Church, with Pastor Guy Schmielau, officiating.
Memorials may be to the Creston Christian Church or the Creston Cemetery Endowment Care Fund.
