Spokane police search for knife-wielding robbery suspect

Update: Police found and arrested Shalamar Petry, 18, on a charge of first-degree robbery Tuesday afternoon.

Original story: Spokane Police are searching for a woman who allegedly stole several items at knife point at the Rite Aid in the 800 block of East 29th Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. on December 22. Store staff saw the woman grab several items and she reportedly pulled a knife when they tried to confront her, police said. The woman is black, between 20 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with a heavy build. Anyone with information about her identity is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
