Obituary: Mccrea, Viola Joan

McCREA, Viola Joan Passed away at her home on January 30, 2014.

She was born on March 12, 1942 in Spokane, WA to Wesley and Ida Green.

She is survived by her husband Alvin (Pinky) McCrea, two daughters Terry (and Gene) Payne and Karla McCrea and Isaiah Wynne, ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and her grand-dog Scooter.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Laurie Taylor, granddaughter Patricia Taylor, two sisters Joy Baumgarden and Jesse Polston and brother Wesley “Bub” Green.

She worked as a cook for the Columbia School District for 30 yrs.

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends and always had an open door policy at her home.

Memorial service, Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Fruitland, WA with Father Roy Floch, Pastor Ed Dashiell and Pastor Mike Vanmeer, officiating.

Interment to follow at the our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
