Obituary: Brookshire, Martha

BROOKSHIRE, Martha On Saturday, February 8, our Loving, Radiant Mother, Grandmother and Friend was ushered into her long awaited reward and home in Heaven.

Mom and Dad moved to the Valley in 1945, built their home and raised four children: Judy (Bill) Dropko of Spokane, WA, Boyd (Tamsy) Brookshire of Boise, ID, Leon (Alice) Brookshire of Boise, ID, Diana (Randy) Clonts of Safford, AZ.

She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand- child.

Her church was her greatest passion where she served faithfully for 69 years.

Her hands were always open for the less fortunate with an encouraging word to follow.

Her smiles and hugs brought such a healing to everyone and will be forever remembered.

She was always just a phone call away.

Martha could frequently be found tending to her beautiful gardens that brought such a blessing to the community who purchased them.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, officiated by Rev.

Bill Dropko of Greenacres Christian Fellowship.
