FARLINE, Louis A.

Passed away peacefully on February 8, 2014.

Lou lived a long fruitful life of 93 years all in Spokane, Washington.

Born to Luigi Farline and Concetta Stilo.

He graduated from Gonzaga University in three years with Bachelor’s Degrees in engineering and math.

He married Ruth Miller in 1952.

They were married for 62 years.

Lou was instrumental in developing the Kaiser Aluminum Plant here.

He started with a wooden shack and grew the plant to its height before retiring in 1982.

He had a passion for fishing, antiques, collecting art, real estate and Lincoln Continentals.

He designed the home he and Ruth lived in for over 60 years.

Lou left behind his wife Ruth; son Bruce Farline; stepdaughter Diane Brooks; grandson Nicholas Farline; stepgrandchildren Eric Sperry and Stephanie Moore; nephews Jim, Jerry, Robert and niece Susan Frank.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM.

at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery at 12:30 PM following the service.
