Obituary: Sanders, Lynne Katyryniuk
She was twenty one days short of her 63rd birthday and the eleventh year anniversary of the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
Lynne can best be described as playful with a spiritual connection to all living things.
She was the best wife (Dave), a loving mother (Jonathan and Moose), a sister (Kay and Tom), cousin, niece, favorite aunt to many and an honest friend to the lucky ones.
Upon graduation from Washington State University, Lynne joined the Peace Corps where her experiences with the children and families of Morocco helped to shape her future as a children’s advocate.
Her knowledge of early childhood development was shared with others as a parent educator and trainer of child care providers.
Lynne’s influence on parenting and childcare practices will live on forever.
She will be missed by those who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held on March 15, between the hours of 5pm and 8pm, at Barrister Winery.
Charitable contributions may be made to Community Building Children’s Center located at 35 W Main Ave, Spokane in lieu of flowers.
