Obituary: Aubin, Dona Jean
Age 92
Dona was the second eldest of six children.
She met and married Wayne Aubin in 1941.
They had three children: Michael, Frances and Patricia.
Dona lived most of her life in Spokane, except for a few years when she and Wayne lived in Seattle, WA, where she worked as a welder in the shipyards during the war.
She also worked for 23 years for Wonder Bread in Spokane before retiring.
Dona was preceded in death by her son Michael (1964) and husband, Wayne (2001).
She is survived by her two daughters: Fran (Carl) Anderson, Patricia (Patrick) Gaffrey; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy; and niece, Scherry Harding; and extended family, Joe and Lydia Biegler.
We wish to thank the extraordinary staff at Orchard Crest Retirement and Assisted Living Complex in Spokane Valley for six years of caring and friendships.
Horizon Hospice whose compassionate care made Mom’s passing less difficult.
