Obituary: Clark, Dan

Age 62

CLARK, Dan April 3,1951 - February 1,2014 We all lost a dear friend, a music man, a sport enthusiast, a Prankster, and above all a collector of pig memorabilia.

Dan was raised on the South Hill and attended Gonzaga Prep, where he perfected his prankster ship.

He had the ability to change a dull day at school, into a remembrance.

After graduating from Gonzaga Prep in the class of 1969, he went on his academic quest and obtained a Master degree in Psychology.

Dan never pursued employment in the area of psychology, but certainly used his skills in his everyday assessment of his surroundings.

His work life consisted of managing and keeping in repair his numerous rental homes he owned, as well as changing faucets, water heaters, toilets for his friends, using his academic skills to assure one felt like he just couldn’t wait to help.

Dan had many friends from years passed, and an extraordinary circle of friends at the time of his passing.

He will be missed dearly, if there is a Pig Heaven, Dan is dancing.

He is preceded in his death by his mother, and his special friend Geoffrey Powers.

He is survived by his father and siblings, Judy, Dave, Cindy and Kelly.

A “Celebration of Dan’s Life” will begin at 3:00PM Saturday, March 1, 2014 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N DIVISION in Spokane.
