Obituary: Hime, Helen
Age 93
She was born on July 8, 1920 in White Earth, Montana.
Helen graduated from Chewelah High School in 1937.
In 1957, Helen married Roy Hime and together they raised their children.
A 70 year resident of the Spokane area, Helen worked in the community as a Food Service Manager for many years.
She was a member of the Hillyard Senior Center and has won their “Lifetime Service” award.
Helen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, her family, and playing pinochle.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Baggen of North Bend, OR; and son, John Hime of Spokane, WA; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Roy in 1995.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 beginning at 1:00PM in the Sunset Mausoleum Chapel on the grounds of Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery.
