CORVALLIS, Ore. – Justin Cobbs scored 20 second-half points and sparked California to an 88-83 victory over Oregon State on Saturday at Gill Coliseum.
Cobbs, held scoreless in the first half, made 6 of 9 shots from the field and 7 of 8 free throws after intermission and the Bears (12-4, 3-0 Pac-12) rallied from a 10-point deficit.
Cal swept the Oregon schools on the road for the second consecutive season and opened league play 3-0 for the first time since 2009.
Roberto Nelson led all scorers with 26 points and nine assists for the Beavers (9-7, 1-3).
