McGOLDRICK, George M. George Michael McGoldrick left us on January 8, 2014, with his family by his side after a courageous battle with pancreatitis.

He was born November 6, 1957 in Spokane, son of Joanne L. McGoldrick and the late Robert D. McGoldrick, Spokane attorney.

He was the great-grandson of James P. McGoldrick, pioneer Spokane lumberman.

George was a friend to all, with a great Irish spirit.

He attended Our Lady of Fatima grade school, Gonzaga Prep, and Spokane Community College.

He was a steel erector extraordinaire, and built many shopping malls and steel buildings throughout the nation.

George is survived by Robert (Colleen) McGoldrick, Tami (Ryan) Haggerty; Lisa McGoldrick; and Julie McGoldrick.

One of his favorite past times was being with his grandchildren: Dylan, Izak; Shandra, Sawyer, newborn Nora Grace; Abigail, Devin; Braydon.

He also leaves his mother, Joanne McGoldrick, a brother Thomas (Debbie) McGoldrick and sisters: Suzette (Marc) McGoldrick; Patt (Randy) Duff; and Marianne (Bruce) Zelinski.

Also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

One of George’s dreams was to retire soon by a mountain stream, build campfires and enjoy four wheeling with his family.

We will miss his happy and enthusiastic presence among us.

Services to be held Friday, January 17th at 1:00, at Our Lady Of Fatima Church, 3327 S. Perry, Spokane WA, reception and luncheon to follow at church.

Mass celebrants will be the Most Rev.

William Skylstad; Bishop Emeritis; and Rev.

Brian Sattler, cousin of George.
