Finding an opening: Jesus Vasquez, of Englewood, Colo., right, lands a right hook on David Sandoval, of Tacoma, during their 123-pound bout at the USA Boxing Elite National Championships on Wednesday at the HUB Sports Center in Spokane Valley. Vasquez went on to score a technical knockout. After a day off today, the event moves to Northern Quest Casino for semifinals Friday and finals Saturday.
