Best advice: Ever since I was a little girl, my mom has always been my No. 1 supporter. She always told me that she believes in me and that I am capable of doing anything that I put my mind to. Even to this day and throughout the rest of my life, I will always refer back to her famous quote, “You can only do the best you can, because whatever happens, happens.” I have learned to love this saying, for it reassures me. When I’m far from home next year, these words will always remind me that as long as you give it all you’ve got, you’ve accomplished a lot and the results were meant to be.
