Obituary: Silva, Lawrence G.

Age 39

SILVA, Lawrence G. Lawrence Gregory “Lorenzo” Silva passed away un- expectedly in Oregon on June 28, 2014.

Lorenzo was born December 22, 1974 in San Jose, California to Melvin L. Silva and Jacinta Caballero Silva.

He moved to Spokane with his mother in 1980 where he attended St. Thomas More Elementary, Gonzaga Preparatory School and Ferris High School.

He obtained an AA degree from Spokane Community College and continued his BA studies at WSU and Gonzaga University.

Lorenzo has two children, Devan Danzig Silva and Sydney Madeleine Silva.

He married Emmilee Bolan in 2002.

Recently he was employed by CRDN - Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network.

Lorenzo is preceded in death by his grandfather, Rafael Caballero Sr.; grandmother, Ona Caballero; grandfather, Leo Silva and grandmother Madeleine Silva, San Jose CA; uncles, Ralph Caballero Jr., and Lorenzo “Greg” Caballero.

Lorenzo is survived by his wife, Emmilee; son, Devan Silva (Jazzlynn) and month-old grandson, Exsehviar, Vancouver WA; daughter, Sydney Silva, Olympia, WA; father, Mel Silva (Lynn) Poulsbo WA; mother, Jacinta Connall (Gary); half-brother, Darren Silva, Elk Grove CA; stepbrothers, Garrett Wilson, Seattle WA, Fr.

Darrin Connall, Kelly Connall (Misty); stepsister, Kami Ricco (Bryan); uncles, Victor Caballero, Show Low, AZ, Miguel Caballero (Maria) and their families.

A memorial service will be held at Hennessy Funeral Home, 2203 North Division, on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 3 pm, and will be officiated by Fr.

Darrin Connall.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.

Lorenzo was particularly fond of the Crisis Residential Center (YFA), 201 W 6th Avenue, Spokane, WA 99204 and had served on their Board of Directors.

Private burial will be held at a later date.
