Obituary: Brakefield, Helen L. (Dean)
Helen was born to Jacob and Georgia (Whicker) Dean in Cheney, WA.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Richard Brakefield, 2013, her parents, two brothers, Wave and Lloyd Dean, sister, Evelyn Allen, and one grandson, Russell Fifer.
Helen is survived by her four children, John (Karen) Brakefield, David (Patty) Brakefield, Ken (Sue) Brakefield, and Nancy (Ralph) Fifer; and two brothers Herbert and Orval Dean; five grandchldren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Helen was a lifetime member of the Colbert Community.
A visitation will be held Thursday July 17th, 3 pm until 8 pm at Ball & Dodd Funeral home.
Graveside services will be Friday July 18th, 9 am at Fairmount Memorial Park, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 am at the Colbert Chapel, 4922 E. Bernhill Rd Colbert WA 99005.
