Obituary: Steele, Albert Leroy “Roy”

STEELE, Albert Leroy “Roy” July 29,1923 - June 29,2014 Sunday, June 29th, at age 90, Roy passed away surrounded by his wife and family.

Roy and his twin brother Bob were born in Spokane WA, to John and Nellie Steele, weighing just over two and three pounds each.

He and his wife Patricia raised six boys at their home on Bigelow Gulch.

At age 60, after 28 yrs of working at Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood Rolling Mill, (known there as Swede) he retired and spent most of his time teaching people about the Bible and the promises it holds for our future.

Roy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia; children, Dana and Trixie, Shiela, Jamie and Sheri, Shane, Jason and Linda.

Six grandchildren: Heather, Melanie, Levi, Jillian, Beau, and Taylor.

Three great-grandchildren, Allie, Emory, and Cyrus.

He was preceded in death by two of his boys, Joel and Wade, also his twin brother Bob and all other siblings.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 26th.

2014 at 4:00pm at the Hillyard Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 2824 N. Lee St., Spokane, WA 99207.
