Age 89
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Marie, her husband Jake Homburg, her son Jake jr, a daughter Rosemary Groves and two brothers, Karl and Reinhold.
Amelia was born in Tacoma, WA on March 28, 1925 to George Wirtenberger and Marie Elizabeth Thaut.
She is survived by her son Ronald George Homburg, two grandchildren Rhiana and Trevor, a sister Gerda Reid, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Amelia was a member of the Heritage Church in Odessa.
Amelia enjoyed working in her garden, cooking and baking.
She also enjoyed sewing and traveling.
Amelia lived in Europe with her family in her youth and returned to the U.S. in her early 20s.
Memorials may be made to the Odessa Healthcare Foundation.
Funeral services will held at Heritage Church in Odessa, WA on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jon Hayashi, officiating.
