Obituary: Dickelman, Judith Kay
She was born to the late Norman Allbery, and Dolores Allbery, on May 24, 1949.
Judy attended North Central High School, and later Whitworth College.
She served on the fashion board at the Bon Marche during high school.
She was an active member in the community, and volunteered at local hospitals, schools, and youth organizations for over 30 years.
She enjoyed her career as a dental administrative assistant and office manager, and made lifelong friends doing what she enjoyed.
Family and friends were Judy’s joy, as she grew up spending summer and vacations with family and friends at Deer Lake.
She played softball, and enjoyed bowling, and going for walks.
She enjoyed reading, country music and especially loved yearly trips to the Oregon coast.
An avid animal lover, Judy always had dogs and cats in the house.
She was preceded in death by her son Bradley Erickson.
Judy is survived by her mother, Dolores Allbery, husband, Ray Dickelman, brothers Bud, Steve and Monte Allbery, daughter, Sheila Erickson, and her three grandchildren.
She also leaves behind numerous loving friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane, 4340 W. Fort George Wright Dr., Spokane, WA 99224, on Friday June 6, 2014, at 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
