Obituary: Alexander, Otto J.
Age 71
(Age 71) Otto entered into eternal rest June 5, 2014 after battling numerous medical issues for the last two years.
He is survived by his son, Jeff (Kim) Alexander, grandchildren Natalie and Ethan; daughter Mary Ann; and his loving companion Lana Cochran; his special aunt Dee Miller; Lana’s children, Debbra Cochran, Kelly (Tammy) Cochran, Jamie (Bill) Kowalski and numerous friends and extended family.
Otto loved fishing, hunting, camping, basketball and telling tall tales.
He was born is Peoria, IL November 30, 1942 and spent many years in that area before transferring to Spokane with Caterpiller where he retired after 30 years of service.
He served as a corpsman in the US Navy.
He was also very active volunteer for several years with the National Wild Turkey Federation and Washington Wildlife with the trap and transfer of wild turkeys.
He also volunteered with fish net-pin releases on Lake Roosevelt.
He was always proud to be an active member of the Spokane Valley Eagles.
Celebration of life will be held this week, date and time will be announced at a later date.
