LLOYD, Josephine Mary Beloved Josephine Mary Lloyd passed away peacefully at home with her family on June 5, 2014.

She was born in Clayton, WA on March 26, 1932.

Jo attended school in Clayton but graduated from Marycliff High School in Spokane.

After graduation, she began work as a telephone operator for Pacific North West Bell Telephone Company.

She worked for them (now Qwest) until her retirement.

She married Jimmie D. Lloyd in September 1974.

She moved to Otis Orchards and became a very active member of St. Joseph’s Parish Catholic Church and St. Vincent DePaul Society.

She was a tireless volunteer and worked on many projects.

Josephine is preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Madeline Michel; sisters Frances Michel and Esther Ludwig; and brothers Albert and Leo Michel.

She is survived by her husband, “Jim” Lloyd, and sister Maxine Michel.

She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her many kindnesses and numerous prayers for her family and friends will never be forgotten.

Vigil services will be Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 7pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4521 N. Arden Road, Otis Orchards, WA.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11am also at St. Joseph Catholic Church with committal to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jo’s name to a charity of your choice.
