Obituary: Oie, Sean K.

OIE, Sean K. (Age 49) Died June 7th suddenly and violently at a Spokane Transit station.

He was born November 15th, 1964 in Seattle.

He graduated from Mt.

Rainier High School in Des Moines, WA in 1983.

Sean attended Highline College in Midway WA and studied automotive engine classes and West Seattle Community College studying diesel engines.

He was a commercial fisherman for several years, working on a longliner and as a foreman on a fish processing trawler.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Oie.

Surviving are his mother, Sidney Oie of Mt.

Vernon; brother Eric Oie of Northport; sisters Heidi Ott and Heather Oie (Mrs. Walt Krein) both of Everett; aunts Leslie Goff of Mt.

Vernon and Charleen Feulner of Port Orchard; seven cousins, three nephews and two nieces.

The family will hold a private memorial in September.
