ARTHUR, Kimiko M. (Age 84) Passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on June 19, 2014.

She was born November 8, 1929 in Kagoshima, Japan.

She came to the United States in 1956.

She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore Arthur on November 5, 1976.

Throughout his 21 year Army career they traveled through Europe, then they retired in Spokane.

Kimiko was an excellent gardener and prided herself in her yard as did all her friends and neighbors.

She also loved to crochet and sew and made many items for gifts and her own enjoyment.

She is survived by her daughter Junko Christenson; sister Sumie Okamura in Japan; as well as two grandchildren - Timothy and Theodore Christenson.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
