Obituary: Frederick, Anita C.
Age 76
Anita was born in Odessa, WA on October 3, 1937 to Theodore and Francis.
She was the oldest of five children.
A 1955 graduate of Odessa High School, Anita was involved in Girl Scouts and life guarded at the Odessa pool in the summers.
In December of 1955, Anita married Leland Frederick, and together they raised five children.
In 1963, she and her family moved from Odessa to Sprague, WA.
Anita was a member of Mary Queen of Heaven parish and the Altar Society in Sprague.
She enjoyed the “Red Hats” group outings and playing pinochle with the card club.
She was a wonderful cook and loved putting on “Tea Parties” with her family, especially on Christmas Eve.
Anita retired from K & L Distributors as their bookkeeper after 25 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Leland of 58 years, her parents and her brother Paul.
She is survived by her sisters Brenda (Billy), Sylvia (Ed), Elaine (Dick); son Jeff (Kelly); daughters Gayle (Gene), Cathy (Larry), and Carrie; son Wes (Kari); fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday July 2, 2014 at Mary Queen of Heaven church in Sprague, WA followed by burial at the Maccabee Cemetery in Sprague.
A luncheon will follow at St. John Lutheran Church in Sprague.
