INMAN, Jeanel (Age 91) Jeanel Yvonne Inman (Paullin) Died on May 24, 2014 after a short battle after complications from a stroke.

She was born on September 14, 1922 in Belmont, Idaho to Loy and Cecil Paullin.

Jeanel was one of four children and was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, George and John Paullin; her younger sister, Donna Lee Hoover, and her husband Paul Inman.

She graduated from West Valley High School in 1939 and worked at Felts Field CafÄ‚Ĺ and The Davenport Hotel.

She married Paul Inman on December 23, 1944 and became a domestic engineer for the next 55 years.

Jeanel enjoyed many crafts including quilting and doll making.

She was also an accomplished seamstress.

Jeanel loved her weekly game of golf with her girlfriends.

She was known to carry a little peach brandy on the course for “medicinal purposes”.

(The 19th hole was usually by the pool at Jeanel’s house in Pasadena Park!)

Jeanel is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Paul “Russ” (Linda), William “Bill” (Wendy) and Marc (Jodi) Inman.

She is survived by six grandchildren; Nikki, Heather, April, Paul “Rusty”, Jasmine and Billie and six great-grandchildren; Ari, Holden, Moraya, Spencer, Alahna and Evelyn; and an extended family including two grandchildren, Tracey and Robi; three great-grandchildren, Floyd, Tia and Carissa; and two great-great-grandchildren, Bailee and Addy.

Jeanel was a loving and giving person who could recount tales from her childhood in the twenties and thirties that could paint a picture of the lives of herself and the family and friends around her.

Towards the end of her life, both her hearing and eyesight began to fail, but it did not stop her from enjoying the company of those lucky enough to have known her.

Her sharp mind and keen wit kept her young at heart.

We will miss her, but her memory will always live on in our hearts and souls.
