Obituary: Roecks, Leslie Roy
Age 90
Dad was born on April 15, 1923 on the farm he loved so dearly.
He lived 89 years on the farm, spending the last 1 1/2 years at the Fairfield Care Center.
Dad graduated from Fairfield High School where he was Student Body President, along with playing basketball and baseball.
He was a GU Basketball fan, Little League baseball coach, and enjoyed watching his grandchildren in sports.
His family was the most important thing in his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elise and Arthur Roecks, and brother Albert.
He is survived by his daughter Karen (Tom) Towey; son Gary (Barbara) Roecks; grandchildren Bill Towey, Melissa Towey, Jeffrey Donahue, Scott Roecks, Holly Davidson, five great-granddaughters, one brother Eugene Roecks and numerous cousins.
He was a lifetime member of the Triangle Grange and Historical Society.
Graveside Service will be held at Spokane Memorial Gardens on March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am.
