Obituary: Helgeson, Gregg N.
Age 63
Gregg N. Helgeson, swept me off my feet.
He treated me like a princess; spoiled me, adored me and honored me.
He loved me and absolutely adored my two precious babies like they were his own, right from the third date.
Our first anniversary is the same day as the date of his adoption of my daughters: Taffee and Ashley, May 6th.
We would then have two more precious babies: Chris and Mariah.
We never lacked for anything, especially love.
Our life was not perfect, but no one’s is.
We built our lives on God’s promises and our marriage vows; for better, for worse, in sickness and in health.
Faith isn’t developed in the good times; it’s forified and substantiated in the trails and tribulations of our life.
We have had many, but God…He saw us through every single one faithfully right up to the end.
This year we would have celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary; but, today I had to say, “Honey, I will see you again my love.
I will love you always and forever.
I am so blessed to have shared my life with you my darling, and I will miss you dearly.”
Gregg went home to see Jesus today.
He fought the good fight the best he could and now he’s at perfect peace.
Gregg is survived by his wife, Lori Helgeson; their four children; and seven grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life, in honor of Gregg Helgeson, on March 15, 2014 at 1:00PM at ONE*, on the corner of 24th and Sullivan.
Come remember the man who touched all our lives and will live on through all of us.
