Obituary: Bareither, Pat

Age 83

BAREITHER, Pat (Age 83) Of Fairfield, WA passed away peacefully March 22, 2014.

She was born on November 27, 1930 in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Glen and Merla (Osgood) Patrick.

She moved to Spokane with her mother when she was in high school, and was a graduate of North Central High School.

Pat married Levi Bareither July 22, 1948, and they lived in the Fairfield and Mt.

Hope area all of their married life.

When her children were small, she taught Sunday School, and was a Cub Scout den mother.

Pat worked for the Liberty School District as a secretary, a job that she enjoyed for over 35 years.

For many years she drove wheat truck in harvest for Levi, who passed away in 1991.

In 2004, Pat was fortunate to find a companion in Lloyd Craft from Wyoming.

Lloyd moved to Mt.

Hope, and they were married in 2005.

Lloyd passed away January, 2013.

Pat enjoyed growing a vegetable garden each year, giving away to friends and family most of what she grew.

She loved playing Scrabble with her kids and grandkids, and always worked the crossword puzzle in the newspaper each day.

Pat was preceded in death by her mother and father, husbands Levi and Lloyd, and brother, Ralph.

She is survived by her brother, Richard Patrick (Erma), Mercer Island; half-sister, Dixie Johnson (Eddie), Greybull Wyoming; sister-in-law, JoAnn Patrick, Manderson, Wyoming; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Bareither, Spokane; Delbert Bareither (Judy), Kennewick; her three children, Bonnie Walker (Colonel), Spokane, Monte Bareither (Deanna), Mt.

Hope, Mark Bareither (Sandy) Spokane, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was a kind, caring, beautiful person, who lived her life with love in her heart.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, at the Fairfield Presbyterian Church.

A reception will follow at the church.

Private family burial at Mt.

Hope Cemetery.
