Obituary: Burns, Helen M.
Age 90
She was born May 23, 1924 in Spokane to Arthur and Hazel Rickey.
Helen met and married Robert Burns, and they spent several years with their young family in Alaska before returning to the area.
Helen’s life was her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughter, Judy; and two grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Marlene (Bob), Robert (Thelma), Chet (Rita), Bonnie (Carl-deceased); two brothers, Lee Rickey and Gene Rickey; 13 grandchildren, 39 great- grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Good Samaritan Society and Hospice of Spokane for their wonderful care.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Helen’s life will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in the Good Samaritan Chapel, 17121 E. 8th Ave., Spokane Valley, WA.
