UPDATE: Comcast reports that service is restored
Comcast engineers are working to return service to about 10,000 area customers without Internet access this morning, a company spokesman said.
Scheduled upgrades to equipment caused the outage, though the work is taking longer than expected to complete, the company said.
No estimate was given for when service might be restored. Updates on the outage will be posted through the company’s Twitter feed, @ComcastSpokane.
