Obituary: Mcandrews, John Sherman
Age 86
He moved from Kansas to Oregon, Nevada, Alaska and then settled in Washington in 1970.
He first lived in Spokane, Seven Bays, Wilbur and his last residence in Airway Heights.
John was a WWII Veteran of the Marines and a long time business owner that started J & L Company NE Inc., which specializes in industrial painting and sandblasting.
John was known by many as “Bud” and his sister, Barbara Guy remembers how he loved hunting, fishing and playing the slots at Northern Quest Casino.
He also had a love for gardening, landscaping and his two parakeets.
John is survived by six children: daughter, Pam Hardin; sons, Michael, David, Stephen and Patrick; and step-daughter, Ronnie Hutchinson.
Survived also by the children’s mother, Barbara McAndrews; sister, Barbara Guy; half-sister, Les Tryon; also 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.
John was preceeded in death by wife, Lorraine McAndrews.
A memorial service will be held for John at a later date.
