Obituary: Plett, Donald Wilder “Leo”
Age 63
He is preceded in death by his father Eugene Donald Plett, his partner Alan Crutcher and his nephew Ryan Boucher.
If you were ever lucky enough to have met Don you would have never forgotten what a wonderful, loving, passionate, kind and very dramatic person he was.
He graduated in 1969 from Shadle Park High school and earned a BFA from Eastern Washington University in Interior Graphic Design, a degree he created himself.
For 40 years he lived in many places; among them Seattle, New York, Bermuda and Washington DC, where he was the owner and operator/instructor of the Wilder & Wilder Salon.
Recently he moved back to Spokane to be with his family.
Mother, Ramona M. Plett (who he called his only girl friend); brothers, Eugene J. Plett (Linda), Gary A. Plett (Tatiana); sisters, Connie M. Boucher (Bud), Janet L. Rice (Ken), Mona Lisa Plett, Theresa A McBournie (Richard); and many Nieces and Nephews.
Donald dubbed himself the “Hairdresser to the Stars” but to him everybody was a ‘Star’ and that’s exactly how he made you feel!
Memorial service will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. St. Joseph’s Parish, 3720 E Colbert Rd.
