Obituary: Crandall, Deacon John A. “Jack”

Age 80

CRANDALL, Deacon John A.

“Jack” Deacon Jack Crandall passed away May 12, 2014 in Spokane.

He was born November 19, 1933 in Burley, ID the son of Francis Xavier and Cresentia Flavia (Kenney) Crandall.

Deacon Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Virginia Crandall in 2006; his parents; and his granddaughter, Katie Elizabeth Dow.

He leaves behind his children, Kevin Crandall, Kathleen (Tim) Michels, Michael Crandall, Terri Crandall, Patty (Don) Beloved, Sheila (Mark) Machtolf, Paco (Michelle) Crandall, and Sarah Crandall; his brothers, Francis and Kenneth Crandall; and his grandchildren, Andrew and Maria Dow, Phillip Crandall, Annie and Rebecca Rimpler, Hanna and Tessa Beloved, David, Steven, and Jack Machtolf, Devan and Sydney Silva, and Elizabeth and Isabella Crandall.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20 from 12-5pm at Holy Cross Funeral Center Chapel, 7200 N. Wall St. Vigil services will also be Tuesday, May 20 at 7pm and will be conducted at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside, Spokane.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 10am at the Cathedral with committal taking place that day at 2pm at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church, Tum Tum, WA.
