Obituary: Hofmeister, Michael Lawrence
Age 86
Mike was born on May 1, 1928 on the family farm in Evans, the son of Lawrence and Barbara (Epp) Hofmeister.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hofmeister and his sisters, Mary Hofmeister, Tresa Cook and Barbara Hartle.
Mike is survived by his daughters, Mary Peterson and husband, Leo, Bossburg WA; Tresa Hendricks and husband, Fenton, Colville WA; Lauren Schebor and husband, Rob, Spokane, WA; Laura Brouillard and husband, Ray, Cheney, WA; Michael Quade and his wife Debra, Spokane WA; grandchildren, Leo, Cody, Ryan, Firnichie, Marty, Lesa, Robert, Lori, Tabatha, Michael Jr, Kelly, Lacey, and Kasey; seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Kettle Falls, WA.
The graveside service and vault interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery in Colville, WA.
Father Daniel Barnett will celebrate.
Memorial contributions may be given to either the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
