Police seek suspects in two armed robberies
Police are investigating if two armed robberies of Spokane businesses on Monday are connected.
The first robbery was reported just after 10 a.m. at the Subway at 3527 E. Sprague. The robber was last seen walking west. He is described as either Hispanic or white with a dark complexion, about five feet seven inches tall, between 20 and 30 years old with a medium build. He was wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
The second robbery was reported shortly after 8 p.m. at the Taco Time at 303 W. Third Ave. The suspect is described as a white man, between five feet five inches and five feet seven inches tall. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and dark colored shoes.
A handgun was displayed during both robberies. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
