Obituary: Leone, Margie Anna

Age 84

LEONE, Margie Anna (Age 84) Died in Spokane on May 10, 2014.

She was born to George and Vera Florer in Bozeman, MT on March 1, 1930.

Her mother died shortly after she was born.

Marge was raised by her father.

She often spent summers with her grandma and aunts.

Extended family was always very important to her.

Marge married Bill Fearn in 1950.

They had three children, Corri, Brian and Joel.

On March 29, 1985 she married Tom Leone, happily extending her family with his children Mike, Mark, Craig and Tami.

Marge had a heart for people.

She was always looking for ways she could be supportive and make the world a better place.

She chose to find the good in people.

Two of her early volunteer jobs were caring for infants at St Anne’s orphanage and answering calls at the Spokane Crisis Service.

It was Marge’s commitment to serving others that led her and Bill to share their home with seven foster children.

She worked at The Spokesman-Review, Hamblen Grade School, Ferris High School and Fort Wright College.

Marge offered steady support and love to her children and grand-children.

She always had time to listen and play with them.

It was important for her to know what was going on in their lives.

Together, Marge and Tom lived out their Christian faith in service and prayer.

It was their habit to share a devotional time after breakfast, remembering daily their blessings and praying for the needs of their loved ones and the world.
