Obituary: Kennedy Hall Patterson, Susan Mary
Susan Mary Kennedy Hall Patterson, 76, of Spokane, passed away on April 7, 2014.
Susan was born in San Francisco and was a graduate of Menlo-Atherton High School in California.
Susan lived a very full life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Susan enjoyed travel, her cats and dog, knitting, sewing and weaving, cooking Asian cuisine, reading and spending time with her family.
In addition to raising her children, Susan worked as a dental assistant, sponsored refugees from Laos in the 1980s via Catholic Charities and volunteered at Crosswalk.
Susan was predeceased by her son, Alaistair ‘Cameron’ Hall II and her first husband, Alaistair C.M.
Hall.
She is survived by her sister Jeannie Kennedy of California; daughters Kaarin L. Patterson of New York and Aleysha Patterson of Washington; son Joseph C.M.
Hall of California; grandson Chase C.M.
Hall of California, and granddaughter Berkley P. Bird of New York.
Susan’s family extends their gratitude to the staff of Alderwood Manor in Spokane with a special thank you to Dr. Andrew Feld and Dawn McKeown Brunner.
All are welcome at a memorial service to celebrate Susan’s life on Friday, May 30 at 2 pm at the Chapel at Community Cremation and Funeral Spokane Valley, 13127 E. Sprague, Spokane Valley, WA.
