Obituary: Gray, Vern
Vern is survived by the love of his life; his wife Janice of 35 years; son, Steve, (Tammy); daughters: Rochelle Rose (Jeff), Lisa (Chris); step-daughter, Shelly Ann; sisters: Chris (Fred) and Patti; grandchildren: Alexa, Chandler Rae, Kayla, Brandon, Heidi; and loving members of the Jesberger family (75+).
Vern was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.
Vern was a Vietnam Army/Air Veteran with several Air medals and later became a Territory Manager for Eco-lab.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed trap shooting (“The Long Shot Hero”), hunting, fishing and camping all throughout his life.
He was known for his patriotism, humor, story-telling and generosity towards others.
Vern recently had to say goodbye to his loyal hunting dog (Mac) of 13 years, shortly before his own untimely passing.
He was always there to help friends, family and others with projects, coaching, mentoring or whatever else they needed him for.

A celebration of Vern’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 2nd at Kayser’s Chapel.
