Dorothy was born in Fairberry, Nebraska on May 15, 1924.
As a young woman she came to Grant County where she met the love of her life.
She was married June 16, 1942 to Gus George Christ of Wilson Creek.
Dorothy is survived by her two daughters; Judy M. Delzer and husband Robert and Carol A. Hampton; four grandchildren, Connie Clausen and husband Erik, Jeffrey Loree, Tracy Fisher and Christopher Sloan and wife Brenna; 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In the last months of her life she enjoyed a special friend and neighbor, Nancy LeMay.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Gus Christ; sister, Edith Wilkie; and granddaughter Tracy’s fiancÄ‚Ĺ Ricki Kapalo.
Dorothy was the heart of her family and known and loved in the community.
She traveled the world with family and friends.
She enjoyed family gatherings, occasional trips to the casino and luncheons at the senior center with friends.
In her final years Dorothy enjoyed the companionship and care of her two daughters, Judy and Carol.
