Obituary: Holman, Lance Arthur

Age 44

HOLMAN, Lance Arthur A beloved son, older brother, and father was born September 6, 1970, in Hawthorne, California.

He died November 1, 2014, in Spokane, WA.

Lance was well known for his generosity and big heart.

He gave the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it.

He was also well known for being the hardest worker in town.

Lance loved the outdoors and the Columbia River, or any river for that matter.

But he had a special bond with the Columbia, having heard its ancient voice.

Lance was passionate about fishing.

His fishing pole was close to him at the time of death, as was his rosary.

Before his last days, Lance returned home to his loving Savior, Jesus Christ, made amends with many, and was a regular at the Lady of Lourdes Cathedral in Spokane.

Lance leaves behind his Mother, Camille Holman; his Father, Arthur Holman; his middle sister, Crescence Morris (Brian); his little sister, Layette Holman; his daughter Joy Holman; and numerous beloved relatives he kept in touch with.

Lance is predeceased by his first born son, Tanner Holman (mother: Nicole Holman); may they ride motorcycles together in Heaven, as long as Lance can fish too.

Special thanks to his sponsor, Bryan, who helped bring him back home to Christ, and special thanks to “Lifesavers,” his home group, for giving him a peaceful respite to recover and heal.

Also special thanks to Kim, his apartment manager, who cared for him deeply, friends Dena and Megan, and many other folks.

Lance was constantly touching lives with his caring spirit.

The Rosary will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014, at 7:00pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 25, at 1:00pm at St. Joseph’s Church in Kennewick, WA.

Reception to follow.
