I-90 crash kills Rathdrum man

A Rathdrum man is dead after his car left I-90 and crashed into a sign post and light post before coming to rest, according to the Idaho State Police. Shane A. Novak, 24, was driving westbound on the freeway in Post Falls when his 1995 Buick Skylark left the road for an unknown reason around 10:30 a.m. today, the ISP said. Novak died at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
